3 giveaways, 3 contests and 3 successful tours…

One year later our baby Intermixi has evolved into Intermixi 2.0! New layout and new features, but still giving you “a new way to experience Japan”.

Our 2008 edition of the Tokyo Game Show tour is up and taking reservations! Highlights for the casual anime, gamer or japan fan include making the return to the Ghibli museum, crashing a course at Manga University, Unlimited games night at Sega Joypolis and of course admission to the Tokyo Game Show!

But! There’s still one more thing…

Intermixi’s “Maximum The Tour“ extension package.

While giving you the opportunity to extend your stay in Japan, Intermixi will really put the “Maximum” this tour by seeing none other than the critically acclaimed band Maximum The Hormone (Death note, Akagi) play live in Japan!

No other tour will give you so much and cost so little!

So mark you calendars and sign up early for $100 off the tour!

Happy Birthday Intermixi!

(*Note: We are aware that the Joker and Japan stuff don’t really have anything in common… But come on man! Did you see that friggin movie?! WHOA! )

Come for AX, Leave with a Trip to Japan.

Posted by American Kira On July - 16 - 2008

Congratulations to Ana Garlbay, Benjamin Levy and Gloria Aglugub in winning Intermixi’s trips to Japan giveaway. 2 were handed out at opening ceremonies and 1 lucky attendee at the Jyukai concert walks away with more than a cool concert.
“It’s was really fun to be on stage again and to give away a trip” says Aka-san after following a delightful concert from Jyukai. “I would have come out earlier but I was trying to get the girl from Jyukai’s phone number… It was really long though and she wasn’t really interested in me hooking her up with a tour of Japan.”
Aka-san is no stranger to cashing in on big contests though. “Back in 1999 I won this huge prize to tour around with KoRn for like a week. I truly believe, that moment changed my life forever. Come to think about it I was even sprouting shades of red hanging with Jonathan Davis and Head. But, I wanted to pass that same dramatic feeling of change on to people. An Intermixi tour makes that happen. Now I made it even easier for 3 destined people.”

The upcoming Tokyo Game Show tour is on it’s way with the new Intermixi 2.0 site very very soon. (We promise!) Highlights will include: The Ghibli Museum,Seeing Maximum the Hormone in concert, An all access pass to one of the biggest arcade centers, Manga School training, Samurai training, visiting Kyoto and Osaka and of course the Tokyo Game Show 2008.

Yeah, this is going to be big…

Anime Expo® 2008: Well, That Was Fun!

Posted by American Kira On July - 8 - 2008

Intermixi has returned from it’s premiere appearance at Anime Expo 2008. We came, we saw, we gave away trips to Japan.

As our first commercial spots piped into the AX events and surrounding hotels, Aka-san was pleased to see so many people excited once finally finding the Intermixi booth. Of course, being the type of “Pop Cultural Mix” that we are, Intermixi got is share of cool, crazy and comical. Check out the real live Astroboy that stopped by, Japeto would be proud… I think.

Attendees to Anime Expo also got a little more information on our upcoming October tour to the Tokyo Game Show, Ghibli Museum and the chance to “Maximize Your Tour” with a live concert from Maximum The Hormone (Deathnote)!!

“Maxi-the-Pad” Who?

Check It Out, Yo.

Oh yeah… October is looking really good.

Full detailed info on the tours should be up this week, but in the meantime feel free to sign up for our newsletter over in the Intermixi 2.0 beta sector and participate in our forums.

We’re waiting…
